At Little Lorikeets Art Studio located in Russell Lea, we ignite your child's creativity through the captivating world of art. Located in Sydney's Inner West, we are dedicated to fostering a love for creativity in children aged 2 to 12. Our art classes blend the magic of artistic expression with the wonders of STEM learning, guiding your little ones through self-discovery and innovation.
Discover the joy of art with us. Unleash your child's potential, and watch their imagination come to life on canvas.
At Little Lorikeets Art Studio, we offer tailored art classes for children in three age groups:
Introduce your littlest ones to the world of colours and shapes. Our toddler classes are designed to spark creativity from a young age, helping them explore and express their thoughts through art.
These classes are specially curated to enhance fine motor skills and stimulate cognitive development. Your pre-schooler will embark on a creative journey where they can paint their world with vibrant strokes.
For primary school kids, we take art to the next level. Our classes are not just about creating art; they're about discovering and refining a unique style, sparking curiosity, and nurturing a lifelong passion for creativity.
In addition to our regularly scheduled classes, we offer one-off events and school holiday programs and can host Birthday parties and other events.
Fun, Empathetic and Qualified Staff: Our founder and lead educator, Michelle, brings over two decades of experience working with kids. With a deep passion for art and nurturing young minds, she has dedicated her life to sparking creativity in children. Her journey is inspiring; you can learn more about Michelle and her commitment to children's art education on our About Us page.
Develop Your Unique Style: At Little Lorikeets Art Studio, we don't just teach art; we encourage kids to explore and develop their artistic style. We celebrate individuality and creative freedom.
Encourage Play and Experimentation: We believe in letting kids "give it a go." Our classes are designed to be fun, playful, and experimental, providing a safe space for kids to explore their creativity without fear of failure.
Flexible Term-Based Classes: Our classes run during school terms and are perfectly timed, starting two weeks after the term commences and ending one week before it wraps up, offering 8 weeks of creative exploration.
Fostering Pride in Creativity: Our mission is to make kids proud of their creations. We aim to build self-confidence and a strong sense of accomplishment in every child.
Little Lorikeets Art Studio is more than just an art class; it's where imagination takes flight, learning is an adventure, and creativity knows no bounds. Join us on this exciting artistic journey!
Little Lorikeets art class is always a highlight of my daughter’s week. Michelle has put so much thought into the classes so that they are fun and well paced, and cater for all levels, interests and attention spans! There is lots of flexibility so that depending on the child they can do everything themselves or have assistance from a parent/Michelle when needed. My daughter has gained a lot of confidence through the classes and always comes out so proud of her new creation. Highly recommend.

Our 6yo loves going to the primary class where she can be creative and inspired by a great educator. Every Saturday a new piece of art is brought home, our favourite so far is the doorstop 😊 …

We loved coming to these art classes every time. Michelle is lovely, knowledgeable, and puts together an amazing class for kids and grownups to enjoy. Definitely recommend!

My 3 kids have all attended Little Lorikeets school holiday classes. They absolutely love it! I had been looking for something that is a good mix of art and craft. I found once my son had started school that was the one thing he missed most about attending preschool. Michelle is also an early childhood carer and used to care for my son at St Andrews. She is kind, patient and so creative.

Michelle runs a fantastic art class. The projects are really engaging and my daughter keeps playing with them when she brings them home. Kids with varied skill levels in art can make them as simple or detailed as they like
